Your Pie, which has been based in Athens, Georgia since its 2008 founding, has relocated its headquarters to the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta in Georgia this month. The brand's executive, marketing, franchising, operations and finance teams will work at the Morris Road location in the Deerfield Corporate Center, a news release said.
The move gives company officials greater access to nearby restaurant owners in Atlanta, along with vendors and franchise prospects in the area, a brand spokesman said in an email to Pizza Marketplace. It also provides an opportunity to draw from a larger pool of potential employees to add to the growing chain. Another pizza brand, Papa John's recently announced it's moving many of its corporate functions to the Atlanta metro area from its longtime home-base in Louisville, Kentucky.
"Your Pie's move to Atlanta is a significant milestone in our company's history and is part of the long-term focus on the growth and development of our brand," Your Pie CEO Dave McDougall said in the release. "Although Your Pie will always have its roots in Athens, the new office space will help us better accommodate our growing team and enables us to have greater interaction with our local owners and franchise candidates."
Your Pie has more than 75 locations nationally.
