TikTok’s latest food trend is the baked feta pasta with cherry tomatoes – it’s very simple and quick to make, so hop on the train and learn how to make it here.
The tortilla wrap hack has been so popular on TikTok – you make a small cut halfway down your wrap, add your four fillings and then wrap the tortilla by folding it into quarters, following the cut.
Now, people are getting excited about a special cheesy pasta recipe. It’s not just your normal tomato and cheese sauce, it’s requires a huge block of feta and it’s been so popular, that grocery stores in Finland allegedly ran out of feta cheese!

How to make TikTok’s baked feta pasta
If you’re not much of a cook, don’t worry because this recipe is very straightforward and only needs 5-8 ingredients.
Ingredients (4 servings):
1 lb / 450 g italian durum wheat pasta
1 block (7 oz / 200 g) greek feta cheese
1/2 cup olive oil
500 g cherry tomatoes
4 garlic cloves (optional)
black pepper
salt
bunch of fresh basil leaves (optional)
Method:
- Preheat oven at 400F/200C.
- Put the tomatoes, oil, salt, pepper and the cheese block in the middle of an oven-proof baking dish.
- Bake at 400F/200C for 35 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta as instructed on the packaging and set aside.
- When the cheese mixture is ready, mix well to combine the ingredients.
- Add the pasta on top of the cheese mixture, mix thoroughly and serve.

This pasta recipe isn’t new, in fact, it was created in 2019 by Finnish food blogger Jenni Häyrinen.

On her blog, it is called ‘Uunifetapasta’, which is Finnish for oven-baked feta pasta.
The recipe gained views after she uploaded it to her Instagram stories and began reposting her followers’ recreation with #uunifetapasta. Very soon, influencers and the media took notice, leading to a national feta cheese shortage!
