A Monroe County business celebrates one of the sweetest days of the year.
Saturday was National Pie Day, so the Village Farmer and Bakery owner in Delaware Water Gap rolled up her sleeves and got to baking. She brought out their best flavors to celebrate the occasion like their popular apple pie, blueberry pie and "through the forest" pie.
"Any kind of celebration right now is so important for our morale. Let's face it, we've taken a hit with this COVID, with not being able to see families and do gatherings and stuff. So, even a small celebration feels good," Susan Cooper, Village Farmer and Bakery Owner, said.
Cooper is encouraging everyone to enjoy the small things in life that bring you joy during these difficult times.
