Thomas Harris wanted to bring something different to the local dining scene. Plenty of places sell hamburgers or pizza, but sometimes you just want a hot dog with mustard on it, and that’s what Harris was missing.That’s why he’s opening That’s My Dog, a quick, casual hot dog shop at 125 W. Chestnut St. in Jeffersonville, Indiana on July 3.The menu features hot dogs ranging in price from $4.79 to $9.79, offering dogs as simple as The Classic, an all-beef frank with ketchup, mustard and relish, to more complex-style dogs such as The Vegan, a plant-based bratwurst in a pretzel bun topped with mustard and sauerkraut. That's My Dog will operate Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will be closed on Sundays. As for the space, That’s My Dog has two levels for patrons to enjoy their dogs, including a first-level patio where they can actually bring their pet dogs from home for a true family experience, Harris said.
