Ingredients and Directions

1/2 cup sugar

1-1/2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 cup water

1-1/2 tablespoons strawberry gelatin (3/4 teaspoon sugar-free)

1 pint strawberries, halved (you can use frozen strawberries)
Mix sugar, cornstarch and water in saucepan, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat; slice in gelatin until dissolved. Pour over strawberries. Mix well.
Custard filling:

1 small box instant pudding

1-1/2 cups milk

4 ounces softened cream cheese
Mix together and spread on a baked 10-inch pie crust. Chill. Then top with strawberry mixture. Refrigerate until set.
