National Coconut Cream Pie Day is a worthy holiday in our opinion. Since we opened the Dahlia Lounge in 1989, our proprietary TRIPLE Coconut Cream Pie has been winning fans, cementing friendships and building a legacy. It is still the most requested auction donation from our company because it always starts a bidding frenzy. Perhaps it is the luscious, enticing swirls of vanilla whipped cream. Or is it the 2 types of coconut in the pastry cream? Many fans say it is the coconut crust.
