Table Talk Pies in Worcester is updating the tradition of bringing a teacher an apple before class. Instead, this week, the company’s Pie Store on Green Street is offering free pies to teachers.
The promotion is part of Teacher Appreciation Week and runs through Friday.
Teachers can stop by the Pie Store at 153 Green St. and receive a free 4-inch snack pie of their choice.
The Pie Store is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the rest of this week.
Being a teacher isn’t the only way to grab a free Table Talk Pie. The company followed suit of many others and is offering free pies to anyone who received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Customers don’t have to be fully vaccinated to get a pie, but show that they received at least one shot.
Patrons with a vaccination card will receive a free 4-inch snack pie.
