Math aficionados around the world celebrate March 14 (3/14) as Pi Day.
For your reference, this should not be confused with National Pie Day, which is celebrated Jan. 23.
In honor of the day dedicated to the mathematical representation of the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, we decided to try to explain pi using one of our favorite sweet treats -- pie!
