The Table Talk Pies Pie Store is commemorating its fourth anniversary on Green Street in Worcester this week, so naturally, the shop is celebrating with pies.
The store, located within the Canal District, will be offering 4-inch pies all this week for 50 cents. Specifically, the anniversary pie specials will include 4-inch southern buttermilk pies and blueberry lemon pies. The offer is good through Jan. 30.
In addition to the 4-inch pies, all 8-inch pies will be $1.50, the price when the store opened four years ago.
The Table Talk Pies Pie Store in Worcester will be offering 50 cent blueberry lemon and southern buttermilk pies this week.
The southern buttermilk pie has custard-like filling made with a mixture of buttermilk, sugar, butter, eggs and wheat flour. It’s a creamy custard mixed with a flaky crust giving it a hint of tanginess.
The blueberry lemon pie is one of Table Talk’s most popular summer and spring pies. It’s filled with sweetened lemons and wild blueberries from Maine.
The Pie Store at 153 Green St. will be open through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
