The latest collaboration between Wormtown Brewery and Table Talk Pies involves chocolate pecan pies and arrives just in time for the holidays.
The Chocolate Pecan Pie Ale debuts on Friday in Wormtown’s taprooms in Worcester and Foxborough as well as small amounts in retailers across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Connecticut.
The Chocolate Pecan Pie Ale will be available for curbside pickup at the Worcester taproom, despite it being closed for on-site consumption.
The brew, with an ABV of 6.6%, will be available in cans with a handful of kegs in a few select locations.
The ale is made from Table Talk chocolate pecan pies, featuring coca powder and real pecans. The dark appearing porter features notes of caramel, golden pie crust and hints of chocolate.
The collaboration is the latest between the two Worcester businesses. In the fall, Wormtown released a Table Talk Pumpkin Pie ale. The two have also produced a Blueberry lemon ale.
