Owners Marco Paoletti, and Andrea Loporcaro at Sugo Italian Pasta Bar are bringing authentic and affordable Italian food to Santa Cruz tables. Using fresh and organic ingredients, it’s a choose your own pasta adventure at 1116 Soquel Ave. in Santa Cruz. They recommend, choosing one of their sauces made from scratch, which includes a meaty Bolognese, and a pesto and cream sauce. Then, choose one of their many types of quality pastas and raviolis, beef ravioli with ricotta and spinach or any of their vegan and gluten free options.
After that, there is more than 10 toppings to spice up the pasta dish from Italian sausage, pancetta, to veggies. They also serve a delicious homemade meatball appetizer that I would highly recommend.
