The ultimate Thanksgiving pie at Pots & Pans. The bakery's new pie shop opens Nov. 20, 2018, 4915 College Ave., south of Broad Ripple, Indianapolis. IndyStar

With COVID-19 continuing to be a black cloud over holiday festivities, much is sure to be different about Thanksgiving this year. However, one thing will remain the same on Turkey Day — Thanksgiving pie.

Pie, whether it's apple, pumpkin, or hey, why not, key lime, has always been a staple on the Thanksgiving table. But baking is no easy task, especially with a slew of other cooking, prepping and cleaning to complete for Thanksgiving dinner. So, leave it to the experts this year, and breathe one small sigh of relief.

Throughout Central Jersey, our local bakeries have years of experience baking pies perfect for Thanksgiving — all you'll need to do is place an order, sit back and make sure that turkey doesn't burn.
