ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Caitlin Landers stopped by Frenchy’s Tacos and Pasta to learn more about the idea behind the restaurant and their special Thanksgiving dish, available until November 25th.
Luis Robles and Leovardo Garcia are the minds behind the concept of combining Mexican and Italian cuisine while cooking with a French influence. The restaurant started as a food truck in Midland and then expanded to a brick and mortar location in Odessa but they’ve kept the kitchen mobile, adding a unique flare to the location.
“We started earlier this year in Midland as a food truck and evolved to a fiscal location here in Parks Legado, the beautiful Parks Legado, with still the food truck as the kitchen in kind of a unique concept for Odessa,” according to Owner, Luis Robles.
To celebrate Thanksgiving, Frenchy’s is offering a special Turkey Taco until November 25th. The dish is served on a corn tortilla and includes all your holiday favorites like roasted turkey, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce.
“I soak the cranberries with a little bit of sugar and champagne so you’re gonna taste the champagne and the sugar in it,” says Executive Chef, Leovardo Garcia.
Topped with cranberry foam and served with a side of mashed potatoes, this meal will definitely get you into the holiday spirit! Frenchy’s Tacos and Pasta is open every day except Sunday in the Parks Legado Shopping Center.
