Wesley Gosdin, an employee with Coca-Cola, was the winner of Friday's pie-eating contest at the South 14th Street location of United Supermarkets. It kicked off the Easy as Pie 2020 fundraiser for Meals on Wheels Plus.
"From today until the day before Thanksgiving, shoppers are given the opportunity to make a donation to Meals on Wheels," MOW Executive Director Betty Bradley said. "If it's at least five dollars, they'll get a coupon for a free Mrs. Smith pie."
Just remember that when you get your pie, feel free to eat it with a fork.
