NORTHFIELD — Patricia Shearer and her team of bakers at the Trinitarian Congregational Church are busy peeling Cortland and MacIntosh apples and rolling out homemade pie dough to make into both large and small pies, orders for which are being accepted through Wednesday.
The pies can be enjoyed immediately or frozen for the holidays. Prices are $12 for a 9-inch pie and $5 for a 5-inch pie. Sugar-free and gluten-free versions are available for $15, by special request.
Early reservations are recommended by emailing Martha Morse at marthawarwick@gmail.com or by calling the church at 413-498-5839. Leave your name and phone number with your order.
Drive-thru pickup is planned for Thursday, Nov. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon. The church is at 147 Main St.
