The Argonaut – Crumbs: pasta salad - Argonaut

If you are looking for a flavorful, zesty and refreshing pasta salad, take note of this easy-prep 5-6 ingredient recipe.  

Serving size: 8 servings 

Cook time:  20 minutes  

Ingredients:  

1 full box of tri color rotini pasta  

1 full bottle of zesty Italian dressing  

½ red onion, diced   

1 tomato, diced  

1 2.25 oz. tin of sliced olives  

Pepperoni slices to taste (optional) 

Directions: 

  1. Open tin of olives, drain. 
  1. Combine diced onion and tomato, olive and pepperoni (optional) in large serving bowl.  
  1. Empty full bottle of zesty Italian dressing into serving bowl.  
  1. Mix well until fully combined.  
  1. Bring a medium pot to  boil at medium high heat. 
  1. Add salt and olive oil to boiling water to taste.  
  1. Empty entire box of tri color rotini noodles into pot.  
  1. Boil noodles on medium-high heat for approx. 15 minutes or until tender.  
  1. Strain and rinse noodles. 
  1. Combine noodles with ingredients in mixing bowl.  
  1. Let chill in refrigerator overnight to enhance flavor.
