We all want to live the sweet life, but sometimes (2020, we’re talking about you) life seems more bitter than sweet. But one sure way to add some sugar to your life — without the calories — is by adopting a sweet, lovable pet, such as Sweetie Pie, Coco or Prince.
Sugar, sugar! Sweetie Pie would love to be your kitty girl. One purr from this sweet senior will have you wanting her for your very own!
Sweetie Pie can be a tough name to live up to, but this 9-year-old gal does it with aplomb. After years of happiness with her loving owner, Sweetie Pie found herself alone in her house after her owner passed away. When her home was sold, Sweetie Pie was evicted, with nowhere to go. Luckily, Hart2Heart Animal Rescue heard her plight and rescued Sweetie Pie.
Despite the upheaval, Sweetie Pie remains true to her name. This friendly and affectionate girl loves snuggles and being petted, and is eager for a family to love. Sweetie Pie is gentle and easy going, and a nuzzle from her is more satisfying than the best ever piece of cherry pie. She doesn't seem to mind other cats or dogs, and would appreciate a nice, quiet home where she can enjoy retirement.
Sweetie Pie is available for adoption or foster care. That means even if you can't have a forever pet right now, you can still enjoy kitty cuddles on a temporary basis by fostering.
Sweetie Pie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and tested negative for feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses. She is currently undergoing dental work through the rescue. Just like Hershey Park is the sweetest place on earth, Coco is the sweetest cat in the world!
While it might still be a bit warm for a mug of hot cocoa, it’s the perfect temperature for cuddles with Coco. But, to be fair, Coco isn’t a fair-weather cuddler. It might be the hottest day of the year, but Coco is going to be on your lap.
We could say that Coco is a lap cat, but that might be a bit of an understatement. Coco is a lap cat, a snuggle-under-the-covers cat, a follow-you-around-the-house cat, and even a hold-her-in-your-arms cat.
Eight-year-old Coco was abandoned by her family when they moved, and was cared for by concerned neighbors who reached out to Hart 2 Heart Rescue. Rescue volunteers have described Coco as the most affectionate cat they’ve ever met — and these people have met a lot of cats!
This gentle girl loves children and is good with other cats and even dogs. Coco definitely takes her name seriously — in addition to being super sweet, she also comes running when you call her name.
Coco is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and tested negative for feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses. She is currently undergoing dental work through the rescue.

Every fairy tale includes a sweet young prince, and Prince is ready to wear that crown.
Prince is dashingly handsome but he hasn’t let that go to his head. He is friendly and enjoys being around people. Prince likes to sit by your side on the sofa, and will occasionally hop into your lap for a nap.
Four-year-old Prince was rescued after being abandoned by his owner and is happy to be safe and cozy inside his foster home. Prince enjoys attention and being petted, but will let you know when he has had enough and needs to get back to fulfilling his royal duties. Due to this, he will need an experienced owner and a home without children. Prince prefers to be around humans, but has warmed up to the other cats in his foster home. He certainly wouldn’t mind being the only cat in his new home — after all, a castle only needs one Prince.
Prince is available for adoption through Northeast Animal Rescue and is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses. For more information about Prince, or to complete an adoption application, visit nar.rescuegroups.org.
