The Atlanta-based company The Original Hot Dog Factory will open its first Houston location on Friday at 920 Studemont St. Ste. 300.
The growing franchise’s menu features a variety of hot dogs, such as The Texas Rodeo, which is bacon-wrapped and topped with onion rings and chili. The restaurant also features a Chicago Dog, which is a beef hot dog topped with tomatoes, a pickle spear, sport peppers, sweet relish, onions, mustard and celery salt inside a poppy seed bun.
For something on the simple side, the factory makes the All American, which is topped with ketchup, mustard, relish and onions.
The menu also offers non-hotdog items, including hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, French fries, onion rings and milkshakes.
Hours of operation will be 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
