Pie Bar, a Lubbock-based business founded in 2011 by Carson and Mary McCabe, will open its first franchise location at 8900 S. Congress Ave., Austin, this November.
The Link LonkThe South Austin location is being opened and operated by Lisa and Basil Jackson, two Shady Hollow residents who have lived in the Southwest Austin community for 30 years.
The dessert bar has a menu that includes pies and minipies, mousse bites with 25 filling options, four different cobblers and cheesecakes, sold whole or by the slice.
“We are so excited to bring Pie Bar to Austin,” Lisa Jackson said in an email to Community Impact Newspaper.
The original Pie Bar is located at 6620 Milwaukee Ave., Ste. 950, Lubbock, and can be contacted at 806-687-2618.
