The 60th annual Westhaven Wild Blackberry Festival pie sale is slated for today starting at 10 a.m. at the Westhaven Fire Hall, 446 Sixth Ave. in Westhaven. Pies will be sold until they sell out.
The festival will not be taking place because of the COVID-19 health crisis, but homemade blackberry pies are being sold for $20. The pies come frozen and ready to bake, with cooking instructions provided.
This is a benefit for the Westhaven Volunteer Fire Department and is being sponsored by the Westhaven Ladies Club.
