The Cherry Hut Cherry Pie is a Northern Michigan staple. This traditional restaurant in Beulah has had plenty of time to perfect their pie— they’re celebrating their 98th season this year! 
Andy Cook who has been baking pies at the Cherry Hut for the last 22 years showed the four’s Madison Gardner the ropes of making this signature dessert.
The key to a fantastic pie is in the crimping. This is what gives the pie design and also works as a way to keep the filling inside.
